So Friday after 4 long years I finally got to be in the presence of Ronnie Radke. 

Starting from the beginning: 

I got out of school around 11 but I was on campus until 1:30 because I was hanging with friends. I got home around 2 because I had to grab money, my camera and bag and meet Nikki on South Street because we wanted to be there EARLY. As I was on the bus my friend Mike was calling/texting me saying that he met Jacky Vincent and how Ronnie passed him so I’m on the bus like freaking out hoping to get there faster. I finally meet up with them two in front of the TLA and we don’t wanna move because we just wanna lurk and wait for someone to come out. (off to the side there were these two loud, annoying 15 year olds freaking out that they met Ronnie. don’t get me wrong I would be insanely happy too but so yell it down the street repeatedly is just too much) Anyway after like 20 minutes we go across the street to get pizza and go right back near the venue to wait. We’re sitting on this step, eating our pizza, and I had my hood up because it was cold and I noticed 3 people come out of the venue but I didn’t think anything of it because I didn’t see faces. UNTIL. My friend Mike was like “you owe me a photo” and I look up and who do I see walking right by?! Ronnie fuckin Radke ok. He had his hood up, smiled down at us and threw up a peace sign and it was fantastic. I seriously wanted to cry just because I always wanted to meet him but sadly he didn’t stop, he was on his way to get a cheesesteak on the next corner lol. In five minutes we see him heading back. His hood is now down, which made me noticeable to the fuckin fangirls SCREAMING his name and running after him, which made him pissed off. Me and my friend Mike stood up, didn’t attack him on anything when he passed, we wanted him to stop but the girls just ruin everything :/ Mike said “you passed me way too many times!” which made him laugh. (but he really could have stopped for a few minutes I mean people have been wanting to meet him for years now) But he just looked amazing and I was kinda starstruck like all I thought was “is this REALLY happening?” idk I just couldn’t believe it. Then we spotted Ryan running towards the doors, I yelled his last name “SEAMAN!” but he waved to us and ran in :( sigh After those letdowns, we got out fast passes which let’s us in the venue 15 minutes early :3 muahah. Eventually all of our friends got that which made me super happy so we all lined up together. We were in line for maybe 2 hours? idk but it went but fast enough with our weird conversations lol. 

Finally it was 5:45 and when we were told we fucking RAN into the TLA. We were all determined to get barricade, and we all did :’) best 10 bucks we’ve ever spent. I was just holding onto the barricade in disbelief that this was happening. No one was making me leave that spot. No one. The ignorant girls behind us were beyond fucking annoying though, talking to me and Chelsea as if we’ve never been to a concert before LOL EXCUSE YOU. We were definitely older than her and we’ve been to plenty of shows so stfu we know what we’re doing. We’re also close with the security guards and he likes to joke around with us and he started to joke with her and she actually took him seriously. She was complaining behind me for like 10 minutes, then I had to say something to defend him cause she doesn’t know shit ok. SHE’S NEVER EVEN BEEN TO THAT VENUE and she gets all pissy. Ugh anyway, around 6:30? June Divided came on, they were pretty good. Next was Skip the Foreplay and WOW their set was great! I loved it. It’s funny cause as they were setting up, me and my girlfriends were just discussing how good looking they all are. Really, they’re all attractive it’s ridiculous. Their set was so much fun, I really enjoyed them. Next was Oh, Sleeper! Me and Chels haven’t seen them in 09 but we knew we enjoyed their performance then so we were stoked to see them again. God damn they are amazing. For real they’re so great, and sweet guys too. Micah the lead singer is a BEAST. No doubt about it. I love the guitar player Shane, he was right in front of us and he asked for my camera and he played his fuckin guitar with my camera. That was so badass. I’m just in the crowd laughing from amazement. (sadly he thought it was recording but it wasn’t :( stupid camera) Nonetheless it was awesome. I love how he warns people when he’s gonna jump in the crowd, he’s a big dude, not those pencil stick members like a real manly man lol. So he warns my friend he’s gonna jump on him and pulls his hair lol. I hope to see them again. 

It’s now around 9 I believe? and the lights dime and it’s fuckin showtime! The opening music almost had me in tears, I’ve been anticipating that moment for forever. When Ronnie comes out the place goes INSANE. They opened with Sink or Swim (one of my favorites off that album) so I was just screaming my heart out. 

The second song was I’m Not a Vampire, and close to the end Ronnie stopped right in front of me, looked in my eyes, put the mic in my face and held my hand for like 2 seconds. It was AMAZING. idc how stupid I sound I love concert moments like that, especially having one with Ronnie? that made my life. 

The entire set was absolute perfection, I could’t ask for a better show. Ronnie’s stage presence was fantastic and I didn’t expect anything less from him. Walking on the crowd was just great haha he got pretty far and of course fangirls ripped off his shirt like animals -_- but I was screaming ever song until I was out of breath and I’m shocked I still didn’t lose my voice (even though I wanted to haha) but wow FIR put’s on one hell of a show and I’ll probably go to Warped Tour to just see them. I recorded Not Good Enough cause it’s just one of those songs that mean a lot to me. Here it is. 

I bought an FIR sweatshirt and we all went outside to wait for members to come out. We met Shane and Micah from Oh, Sleeper :3 most of Skip the Foreplay, Ron- FIR’s new bassist, then we went to FIR’s van looking anyone else and we all started to freak out cause Jacky and Derek were there taking photos and signing stuff :’) sadly Ronnie never came out but I didn’t expect him to. The night was still incredible even if I couldn’t talk to Ronnie. Next time :) 

Next mission: actually meet Ronnie and TALK to him/hug him/take photo with him.
